Hopesters,

Sedgwick County has banned gatherings of 250 people or more, and while we meet in Butler County, we will be honoring their official request and also be canceling our weekend services.

BUT that doesn’t mean we won’t be called to be the Church this weekend!

As followers of Jesus, we have been called to love our neighbors, so we have been in contact with city officials in Andover and will be assisting them in caring for those with needs. We are currently putting together a website where you (or someone you know) can request help, as well as a place for you all to volunteer to help. We hope to have this website up and running by tomorrow (Saturday).

We also are currently putting together a video message for you all to watch this weekend. Plan on grabbing some coffee and watching that message online this weekend…We also hope to have it posted by tomorrow (Saturday).

We will be communicating with you all through the Hope website, Hope App (search welcome2hope in the App store), and Hope’s Facebook page.

I encourage you to reach out to your neighbors, family and friends. Check-in on one another and pray for one another during this time.

Many around us are searching and seeking…let’s live an “In Living Color” type of life and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Jesus said, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matt 5:16)

Peace,

Nick
