Drop The Stone

Steve WeldonBlog

“‘Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.’  Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.”
John 8:7b-9

Drop the stone
Isn’t your hand tired from holding on so tight to your fear and anger

Drop the stone
Closed hands produce closed hearts

Drop the stone
Love is always better than intimidation and harm

Drop the stone
Who made you the Judge

Drop the stone
Unless you’re perfect in every way

Drop the stone
Before its weight and burden drops you

Drop the stone
Your day is coming

Drop the stone
Jesus is asking you to let it go

Drop the stone
So those in your crowd will follow your lead

Drop the stone
Love begs you to do it for them and you

Drop the stone
Walk away before there is blood on your hands

Drop the stone
Let forgiveness and mercy prevail

Drop the stone
Release your judgement before it testifies against you

Drop the stone
Breaking the mirror only creates more shattered pieces

Drop the stone
Use your passion to build rather than destroy

Drop the stone
The Savior waits
